Update from the ‘Shore and Upcoming Campership Sunday

We are midway through week two at Lakeshore, and we are having a great time! Campers are loving the Aguaglide, and as always, the lazy river.

We are playing all camps, discovering nature, and enjoying the newly turfed Gaga pit! We are learning new songs, making new friends, and worshiping together.

No matter whether we are at an activity or actively learning about God, every experience at camp is rooted in faith. The whole week is spent in His love, learning about His grace, and praising His name in His creation. We are all grateful for this faith-deepening, life-altering time on the ‘Shore.

If you haven’t reserved your spot this summer, it’s not too late! You can still register and have all the fun and make all the friends like these campers!

Many of our campers would never have this opportunity without assistance from our Campership Fund. Approximately 12% of our campers receive financial aid to attend camp. Our whole Camp Hope Series for at-risk youth attends this amazing week away 100% free.

Lakeshore would not be able to serve these campers without support like congregational participation in Lakeshore Campership Sunday coming up June 11!

Thanks to the more than 44 congregations who have agreed to support Campership Sunday! We are less than $5,000 from a fully funded Campership Fund! Please consider a gift to the Campership Fund to help us fund a wonderful week at camp for these 225 campers.
