Can you believe it is time again to be thinking about Christmas and all the joy and activity the season brings? It is a time to celebrate Christ’s birth and the gifts of His love and grace with family and friends.
This is an important season—one filled with family traditions, holiday cheer, gift-giving and lots of get-togethers. In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the season, try to take a few moments to reflect on the greeting from the angels in Luke 2, quoted above. As Christians, we are called to love and care for one another and give God the glory for all that we do.
Sometimes, during the busyness, the peace of the season gets lost. That’s why this Christmas, we are offering you a way to take one thing off your list. We will happily hand-write your Christmas cards for you. What better way to reduce your number of tasks, while spreading cheer to your family and friends AND supporting the ministry of Lakeshore all at the same time?
We know that Lakeshore is often a family thing, whether biological or spiritual, and we hope you will enjoy sending greetings to loved ones with the serene view of the gazebo and the verse from Luke 2 inscribed on the inside. We are asking for a minimum donation of $7 a card if you choose to have our volunteers to inscribe and mail them for you, or $5 per card if you choose to personalize them yourself. Download the order form and send in your order by December 15!
