We can accommodate meetings of 2-200 people. Several of our meeting spaces have access to wi-fi, projector screens, audio and white boards. See our list of facilities.
Lakeshore’s spacious dining area will seat 122 people comfortably with the possibility of adding more tables for larger groups in an adjacent room. Lakeshore menus are designed specifically for the type of group onsite and include two entrees along with vegetables, as well as homemade cookies and our famous Lakeshore yeast rolls. If your group has food allergies, we would be happy to accommodate those.
We have a wonderful hospitality staff who will decorate the space specifically for your event for an additional fee. We can work with your event’s theme, decorate for holidays and choose centerpieces fitting for any occasion.
Outdoor weddings may be scheduled in any of our open-air areas or two vesper areas. You may also reserve an indoor reception facility. Please keep in mind that overnight retreats are given priority in the selection of indoor space.
For indoor weddings, the Pilcher Tabernacle may be reserved for wedding or reception space. Other indoor space requests may be granted no sooner than three months from the wedding date, based on availability. A room for changing will be provided, based on availability, at no charge.
The pastor must check with Gary Lawson, Executive Director, to discuss the ceremony and have the service approved. The Executive Director, as a representative of the United Methodist Church, reserves the right to reject any request not in keeping with the mission of the United Methodist Church, her Articles of Faith and Social Principles as defined in the current Book of Discipline.
Wedding groups must sign a contract and pay a non-refundable deposit of 50% projected wedding costs. The balance of the fee must be paid by the day of the rehearsal/wedding. The contract will also serve as a commitment to read and follow Lakeshore policies including no alcohol permitted.
