A high-energy week filled with friends, fun, music, and worship provides the Jr. High camper with an experience they will remember for years to come. Campers are busy all week with the usual Lakeshore activities such as swimming, crafts, beach party, and nature time. There are several session times during the day where leadership will engage the camp in active learning sessions as they explore the summer theme. Each evening there is an all-camp activity, such as a scavenger hunt, talent show, dive-in movie, or a dance. Then the final gathering for the day will be a worship service before heading to the cabin for some much-needed rest.

We offer only one regular Sr. High camp each summer, and it is always a power-packed, dynamic experience. Sr. High campers get more freedom during the week to choose some of their activities. Jr/Sr High Board Game (ages 12-18)

This camp is for Jr./Sr. High campers who enjoy friendly competition and experience God deeply through community and great conversations. Don’t let the name fool you, these are not your typical childish board games. Campers will explore a wide range of games that will focus on strategy building, forming alliances, looking for the hidden traitor, teamwork, and friendly competition. Board games provide a great opportunity to experience trust, friendship, and a true sense of community. Campers will not miss out on any of the basic camp activities but will also experience some activities with a new twist. You don’t have to be a board gamer to attend, that’s the beauty of games, and everyone will find a game they love. Bring your favorite game, get ready to learn a few new ones, and brace yourself to an amazing week exploring Christ-like community.

Fishing Camp (ages 12-18)

A great opportunity for that fisherman in your family to get an entire week of fishing. Campers stay in a cabin on the main campground so they can get up early to go to our waterfront area to greet bass, crappie, and catfish before breakfast. Add in the other usual camp activities, which makes for a great week. Some local residents give permission for the camp to come and try their luck at their ponds. The week is capped off with a fish fry on Friday night, complete with hushpuppies, slaw, and fries. Campers need to bring their own rod and reel. Lakeshore will provide the bait. (Maximum number accepted is 15).
