Lakeshore has been doing ministry on the shores of the Tennessee River for 70 years, and we think that is something to celebrate!

Lakeshore Camp & Retreat Center: 1948-2018

Calling all Lakeshore alum–former campers, camper families, former staff, leadership, board members. If you’ve been here, you’re family, and we want to see you!

Join us September 21-23 for an inter-generational, Lakeshore Alumni Homecoming Retreat to honor and celebrate this momentous anniversary! We will enjoy a weekend full of activities, camp stories, worship, and more. Sign up early! Spots are limited to 200, and you won’t want to miss it!

Want to get involved? We need your help to make this celebration of Lakeshore’s ministry the best it can be! Help by serving as a representative for your year(s) on summer staff, volunteering during the weekend, or tracking down alum we haven’t seen in years. There are so many ways to help! Click here to register for the 70th Anniversary Homecoming Retreat! Semi-private and family housing is given first come, first served and is based on the number of people registered in your party. You may indicate a roommate request on the registration form.

We are proud to offer this retreat at a highly discounted rate to ensure our friends and family can join us for the weekend. The cost for adults is $45, and the cost for children is $20.


We know that getting away for a whole weekend is difficult for a lot of people. We welcome commuters for this retreat! We have focused a sampling of activities between 12:00 pm – 5:15 pm just for you! Come for the day and join us for lunch, an activity period, our 70th Anniversary program and an intergenerational-friendly all camp activity.
