Modern Amenities, Rustic Charm

Lakeshore has come a long way since its opening in 1948. All our lodging spaces have heat and air conditioning with interior bathrooms. We offer a variety of lodging and meeting spaces to meet the needs of any group. You can make yourself at home in one of our bunk-style cabins or choose more private rooms. Our range of meeting spaces will allow groups of any size to gather for worship, play, or small group sessions.

Heritage Cabins

These 16 cabins have adorned the hillside at Lakeshore since 1971, and oh, the stories they could tell! Countless campers and retreat guests have bonded with their cabin groups and made lifelong memories here. These dormitory-style cabins sleep 10 to 14 and include central heat, air, and bathrooms. There are handicap-accessible cabins on both sides of the hill.

Calhoun & Hopper Lodges

These upscale lodges are designed to host small retreat groups and cover all their needs. They are the only places on camp property that feature bunkrooms, bathrooms, semi-private rooms, a living area, and a kitchenette in the same building. In total, each two-story lodge sleeps 48, spread across four bunkrooms and four semi-private rooms. Both floors of both lodges have drive-up entrances and easy accessibility to the Conference Center and Waterfront.

Hope Lodge

Located behind the Tabernacle on the edge of the woods, the Hope Lodge is a perfect, all-encompassing rental space. This home, away from home, sleeps 28 in two bunk rooms and two semi-private rooms. A spacious living room, large dining room table, and full kitchen make this lodge cozy and homey. Each semi-private room has a set of bunk beds, a private bathroom, and access to a common living room.

*You can rent just the semi-private rooms in any of our Lodges

Kaigler & Shanklin Lodge

If you need the chance to get away but stay close to the activity, these accommodations offer quiet rest with spectacular views of the lake and proximity to the conference center. Often, these rooms host our summer camp and retreat leadership. The quaint lodges feature hotel-type rooms in a suite-style format. The Kaigler Lodge has two bedrooms with two full beds and private bathrooms, a living room, a full kitchen, and a dining area on each of the two levels. Shanklin Lodge offers two bedrooms with full beds each, private bathrooms, and a small lounge area.

Lambuth/Oxley Sabbatical Cottage

Set off in the woods, separate from the rest of camp, the Lambuth Oxley Sabbatical Cottage provides a luxurious escape to the outdoors. The beautiful and comfortable cottage is a place for rest and renewal with friends and family. The two-story sabbatical cottage offers a studio-style apartment on the first floor, two small bedrooms on the second, a full kitchen, and a screened-in porch. Enjoy a fire in the fire pit or a walk down to the lake.

Tiny Cabins

Hidden away in the wooded sanctuary of our Tent and Trailer camp area, three small cabins are available for personal rental. Each unit features a bunk bed, a futon, a bathroom, heating and air, and a mini-fridge/microwave combo. They offer an excellent getaway for a private retreat or sabbatical

Tent & Trailer Campsite

For those who love more traditional, rustic camping, gather your friends for a getaway at Tent and Trailer. Fourteen water and electric hookups, a bathhouse, a pavilion, a hammock shelter, a creek, and the vast West Tennessee woods are ready to host your group around the campfire for a meaningful weekend. Bring a camper, a tent, or a hammock, and make your escape.

Wilderness Hill

Home to one of our most popular summer camp programs, this site is available year-round. It offers beds for 32 campers in five heavy-duty tents raised on stilted platforms. In the center of it all, a campfire ring invites people to share stories, laugh, and stargaze. Cooking equipment and propane lanterns are provided at the Treehouse Camp; all you need to bring is your group for a moderately rustic outing.
*Four-wheel drive vehicles are required to drive up the hill, but the walk up to the campsite isn’t too bad.
