These retreats are for youth ages 12-18 who just can’t wait to come back to camp! They will also give them the opportunity to grow in their faith, build community, and strengthen bonds within the group.
Due to an overwhelming number of registrations for the Jr./Sr. High Retreats and an ever-growing waiting list, we are offering the same curriculum twice a year.
**The Conference Youth Council will lead a retreat in the fall and spring, using the same programming. Choose the dates that work best for you. **Lakeshore will lead a reteat called Love and Justice: Hunger twice this year, one in the fall and one in the spring.
Don’t miss out on these faith formation opportunities. Sign up for one of each!
Conference Jr./Sr. High Retreats
Love and Justice – Hunger
When we want to make an impact in the world in the name of Jesus, we must get to know the stories of people right outside our door and across the world! When we build relationships with people, then we know better how to meet their needs, fuel their dreams, and capture their hearts for Christ. So… how do you see all the people?

We know that young campers look up to their counselors and aspire to be just like them. At Lakeshore’s Counselor Training Camp, we take a weekend to guide our counselors-to-be towards the type of leaders that parents and children want them to be.

Each church is asked to provide adult counselors to stay in the cabin with their group, as well as participate with their youth during sessions and free time. In order to follow Safe Sanctuary guidelines, we recommend two adults of the same gender of the youth they are bringing. However, at a minimum, each group needs to bring one counselor per six youth of the same gender. Counselors must be at least 4 years older than the oldest youth they will be supervising.
