We are making every effort to keep our campers, volunteers, and staff safe from COVID in the summer of 2022. We are strongly encouraging all of our staff and volunteers to be fully vaccinated. In the absence of a vaccination, we will require a weekly negative COVID test from the previous 24 – 72 hours. As always, we will continue to monitor and follow the recommendations from the CDC.
We love having people who are willing to serve, especially during the summer. We have a few different ways you can apply to be a part of our Summer Camp experience.
All applicants will need to submit an application, two references, and a medical form. Lakeshore’s staff will contact you with further information. If you have any questions email our Program Director.
All adults 18 and older are subject to a Criminal Background check.
Summer Staff Descriptions
Application Deadline: March 25, 2022
Interview Date: April 9, 2022
Summer Camp Session: May 19 – August 5, 2022
– Minimum age of 18 or have graduated high school by May 2022
– Pass Background Check
– First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (not needed to apply, but must have if hired)
– Lifeguard Certification and TWRA License (this is if you are hired as a lifeguard or WO Director/Counselor)
Lakeshore will furnish room, board, and pay for the entire summer. Pay is as follows:
1st Year Staff: $1,800
2nd Year Staff: $1,950
3rd Year Staff: $2,100
