Why do you think camp is important? Camp is important because I truly believe it fuels the spirit. If it weren’t for camp, I would not still be a Christian. Camp made me on fire for the Lord. Camp is such a good and firm foundation for those exploring their faith. It is a sacred place of love. I have never felt more unwavering love like I have at camp. Every year I would come back and see new and old faces and knew we were all here because God’s amazing love brought us together. He is just so good, and camp is the essence of his love.
What are you looking forward to as a director? I am looking forward to getting to share God’s love with my campers through sessions and worship!
Our Camp Hope Series is designed to be a loving environment for at-risk youth. All of these campers receive a full campership. If you are interested in supporting the Camp Hope Series, please consider making a donation to the campership fund.
